SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Angel Pagan's RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning sent San Francisco past Cincinnati, 4-3, in the finale of a four-game set.
After seeing the Reds tie the game in the top of the frame off, the hosts responded in their turn at the plate against Jose Arredondo (4-2).
Buster Posey kept the inning alive with a two-out ground-rule double, then Pablo Sandoval was intentionally walked. Pagan then lofted a ball to right, but Jay Bruce misread the fly and allowed the ball to drop behind him. Posey scored easily.
Santiago Casilla (2-3) earned the win despite allowing three hits over one inning of relief.
