Emergency officials have lifted evacuation orders that stemmed from a 305-acre blaze in Butte County.
CAL Fire Butte Unit officials said the fire started at 5:37 p.m. Friday near District Center Drive and Fortune Way. Residents of several nearby neighborhoods had been ordered to evacuate, and some local roads were closed.
The fire was 100 percent contained as of 10 p.m. Saturday. The roads that were closed have since re-opened. Emergency officials are advising residents to be careful when returning to their homes, as the fire continues to burn in the area.
Four structures were destroyed in the blaze. Officials on Friday said they did not know what types of structures have burned, but said it was in a rural agricultural area. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
