Video game developer Bigpoint.
Bigpoint, the video game studio behind online games such as Battlestar Galactica Online and Seafight, has announced that another title is now in the works.
Merc Elite is a Unity-powered massive online battle arena (MOBA) game set in the near future. The main focus of the game is player-versus-player (PvP) combat in which up to five players can team up to battle each other in domination play where two teams vie for control of the majority of a map's flags. Other features of this in-development title include direct fire shooting, precise line of sight, directional cover, a top-down perspective, customizable characters and weapons, and more than 120 skills.
Furthermore, Bigpoint has revealed that the game will have five unique classes for players to use: recon, assault, commander, heavy gunner, and tank. Exact details of these classes are still under wraps.
There is no release information available at this time for Merc Elite.
