Video game accessory maker Nyko Technologies.
Wii U owners now have a selection of new third-party accessories with which to deck out their Nintendo home video game console as accessories manufacturer Nyko Technologies releases a full line of Wii U peripherals.
"After debuting at CES in January, fans have been clamoring to purchase our exciting line of Wii U accessories," said Chris Arbogast, Director of Marketing, Nyko Technologies. "Now Wii U gamers can power, charge and control their favorite games using Nyko's latest innovations, available now at major retailers nationwide."
Nyko's line of Wii U accessories spans across various categories including charging, battery, controllers and cables. Each product is specifically designed for the Wii U.
The following products are shipping to retailers today:
- Charge Station U: The successor to the Nyko's Charge Station for Wii, the Charge Station U stores and charges one Wii U GamePad and a pair of Wii Remotes. It includes two NiMH rechargeable batteries and rubberized battery covers for the remotes.
- Pro Commander: The Pro Commander is a gamepad that wirelessly connects to the Wii U and works with any game compatible with the Nintendo Pro Controller complete with full analog control and rumble support. The analog stick layout of the Pro Commander is akin to other popular controllers, putting the action face buttons right under the thumb while featuring fully depressible trigger buttons.
- UBoost: The UBoost external battery adds double the battery capacity to the GamePad, allowing up to 2x the playtime. Available in both White and Black, the UBoost easily blends in with the existing design of the GamePad and is fully compatible with Nintendo's Charging Cradle and Nyko's PowerStand. The built-in adjustable stand allows for easy, hands free viewing of all streaming content.
- Charge Base Pro: This peripheral easily stores and charges two Wii U Pro Controllers utilizing Nyko's patented charging dongle design. The dongles attach to the controller, and allow each controller to be magnetically held by the vertical charging base while artfully suspending them while charging.
- Power Stand: It charges the Wii U GamePad in this sleek stand using the existing GamePad AC power cord that ships with the Wii U. The Power Stand is fully compatible with the Nyko UBoost, and comes in White and Black.
- Charge Adaptor: The Charge Adaptor plugs into any wall outlet and allows Wii U owners to rapidly recharge the internal batteries of the GamePad. It has an extra-long cord to provide the freedom to play Wii U games even while plugged in.
