Zen Pinball 2 released for Wii U

Game developer Zen Studios has released its arcade-style pinball video game, Zen Pinball 2, for Wii U.  The game is available for download on the Nintendo eShop.

Zen Pinball 2 is a free platform download for all users, including free trials for each table and a huge library of exciting pinball tables for purchase, including the Super Hero themed Marvel Pinball series, and the zombie themed Plants vs. Zombies table.

The new Wii U version of Zen Pinball 2 is full of console-specific GamePad features such as controlling the plunger on the touch screen, rotating camera views, accessing information via the dot matrix, and Free View control by tilting the Wii U GamePad.  The Wii U version also provides for local hotseat multiplayer and splip-screen multiplayer modes, ranking support for all tables (including national ranking,and worldwide e tournaments), and a number of social features.  Furthermore, Wii U gamers can move the action from the TV onto the gamepad itself.

Zen Pinball 2 is a free download for any user on the Nintendo eShop on Wii U and features demos of each table.  Zen Studios says the Wii U version of the game will have a huge content library available, including three Marvel Pinball packs, a collection of Zen Studios' original designs, and several individual tables.
