STOCKTON, CA - The Stockton Police Department has released a drawing of one of several gunmen who took aim at a gathering in front of a home Sunday night, killing two people and wounding three others.

Killed were Juanita Julia Maldonado, 36, and Juan "Junior" Sarrarez , 21.

Police spokesman Officer Joe Silva said detectives have learned that three or four individuals, described as Hispanic males, walked up to the group on the 1800 block of E. Sonora Street at 8:10 p.m. and began shooting. Witnesses described one of the individuals as in his 20s, light-skinned, and of average height and weight. He had a thin moustache and wore a gray, hooded sweatshirt.

The gunmen drove off in a white or cream-colored vehicle, last seen headed on northbound Locust Street from Sonora Street.

Silva said detectives believe the shooting was gang-related.
