SACRAMENTO, CA - Those with big hearts and a sweet tooth gathered at Sac State's alumni center Thursday to raise money for Closing the Gap.
It's a foundation started by former News10 reporter Dana Howard and two local CEO's to help catch kids at risk of falling through the gap for college. The foundation doesn't target one group, but funds programs that help kids of all backgrounds with tutoring services, college counseling, scholarship identification and life coaching.
