Jasper Byrne's psychological survival video game 'Lone Survivor'.
Independent video game developer/publisher Curve has confirmed that it will be bringing programmer Jasper Byrne's psychological survival game Lone Survivor to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
The development of Lone Survivor for PlayStation is Curve's latest high-profile indie collaboration. It follows the announcement of their work on converting Mike Bithell's BAFTA-winning platforming adventure Thomas Was Alone for PS3 and PS Vita for release this spring.
The Sony-platform version of Lone Survivor will feature exclusive expanded content, including new locations, side quests, and items. Players will also be able to finish the game with a new ending not available on the original PC version.
Speaking about the collaboration, Byrne said "Lone Survivor's release on PlayStation consoles is a dream come true for me. I've been a big fan of Sony's hardware all my life. I really hope PS3 and Vita owners enjoy the game and its new content."
"We're very happy to be partnering with Jasper on this project"added Curve's Director Richie Turner. "I've always been a massive fan of Lone Survivor and PS Vita is the perfect platform for the game. The Cross Save functionality means players will always be up to date if they're playing on PS3."
Curve states that Lone Survivor will be available on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita via the PlayStation Network this summer.
