SACRAMENTO, CA - Five area businesses and individuals have been added to the California State Board of Equalization's list of the state's 500 biggest tax delinquents.
In all, $581.6 million is owed by those on the list.
The area additions for the first quarter of 2013 are: Sierra Valley Restaurants (Jack in the Box) in Roseville, $807,884; Moctezuma Gallegos Tovar of Sacramento, $456,223; Howard Motorsports Group Inc. (Apex Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki of Auburn), $454,498; Tirebusters Inc. in Rodeo, $2,164,002; and The New Pee Wee Muldoon's Bar and Grill Inc. in Brentwood, $446,690.
Board of Equalization spokesperson Jaime Garza said since the list's inception in 2007, 59 taxpayers have paid $8.79 million owed, with 14 paying their debt in full and 45 making installments.
