LODI, Calif. - A 3-year-old child was hit and killed by a vehicle on the 100 block of Tree Court Lane in Lodi on Wednesday.
According to Lodi police Officer Jimmy Pendergast, the boy was struck by a vehicle apparently belonging to the child's family, but it was unknown who was driving.
Lodi's major accident investigation team was called to the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
