SACRAMENTO -  Last year, when News10's Jeff Maher took on the Harlem Globetrotters, he was beaten pretty bad.  But Maher vowed the rematch would turn out differently.

Maher took on Tammy 'T-time' Brawner, and 'Slick' Willie Shaw at 24 Hour Fitness Downtown, and nearly beat them at a game of 'Horse'. Utilizing a dazzling array of trick shots including round the back, through the legs and over the backboard shots the Globetrotters failed to replicate. But in the end, Brawner and Shaw proved too much for the morning reporter.

Obviously not learning his lesson from the 'Horse' loss, Maher challenged the Globetrotters to a game of two-on-one, with the News10 man being the one.

The score of the contest will be withheld to protect Maher's dignity, but suffice to say, the result wasn't pretty.

The Harlem Globetrotters will be at Sleep Train Arena Monday at 2 p.m.  Tickets are on sale now at the Harlem Globetrotters Website.
