SACRAMENTO, CA - A standoff in the Arden-Arcade area Wednesday night concluded with a man arrested and no one hurt.
Sacramento COunty sheriff's Sgt. Jason Ramos said Douglas Cappa, 26, surrendered a little after 11 p.m. from a residence on the 2400 block of Wurth Court after allegedly firing gunshots in the home and holding a woman against her will.
The incident began a little before 9 p.m. with an argument between the suspect and a woman in the home, Ramos said.
During the course of the incident, two women and four young children emerged from the home unscathed before Cappa gave himself up.
Deputies recovered a gun, believed used to fire the shots in the home, Ramos said.
Cappa was arrested and booked into Sacramento County Jail on suspicion of reckless discharge of a firearm, false imprisonment, burglary and vandalism. Bail was set at $75,000.
