WOODLAND, CA - A resident stopped a home burglary after the suspect broke into the home early Saturday morning.

Timothy Forbes-Jackson, 22, broke into a home on the 700 block of 6th Street by climbing through a bedroom window around 12:40 a.m., Woodland police Sgt. Steve Sexton said.

After being caught by the resident, Forbes-Jackson ran from the scene. Sexton said officers eventually caught up with Forbes-Jackson, deployed a Taser and took him into custody.

During the investigation, police found that Forbes-Jackson stole property from a home down the street earlier, Sexton said.

Forbes-Jackson was booked at the Yolo County Jail for two counts of burglary and one count of resisting arrest.
