Baljinder Kaur was arrested in connection to the murder of her mother-in-law
SUTTER COUNTY, CA - A woman was arrested in connection to her mother-in-law's murder Friday.
Baljinder Kaur, 37, was arrested at the Sutter County Sheriff's Office and booked into jail for homicide, Sgt. David Whiteaker said.
On Wednesday, deputies responded to call of a death on the 1900 block of Anthony Way in Yuba City around 12:06 p.m.
Whiteaker said deputies found Baljit Kaur, 68, dead in the home.
During the investigation, deputies found evidence that developed the victim's daughter-in-law Baljinder Kaur as a suspect.
The Sutter County Sheriff's Office said Baljinder Kaur is pregnant.
The case is an on-going investigation, Whiteaker said.
