VALLEJO, CA - A Vallejo man was arrested Friday on suspicion of setting three fires at several businesses in Vallejo recently, including the law offices of the city's mayor.
Sgt. Kevin Coelho said Maude Love will be booked into Solano County Jail on three counts of arson in connection with deliberately-set fires at Cooley and Riolo Mortuary, 505 Couch Street on June 6; Taylor Chapel, 1203 Louisiana Street on July 30; and the Law Offices of Michael Thompson and Osby Davis on Sept. 29.
Davis is Vallejo's mayor.
No one was hurt in the blazes.
Coelho did not reveal what information led detectives to Love.
