RUMSEY CANYON, CA - Two wildfires in Rumsey Canyon have spread to 3,200 acres.
The fire, called the 16 Complex Fire, started around 3:45 p.m. off of Highway 16 in Colusa County, Cal Fire spokesman Daniel Berlant said.
Cal Fire called in aircraft to fight the blaze because of accessibility issues for ground crews in Rumsey Canyon.
Berlant said the fire was located in a remote area and crews have not received reports of threatened structures.
Crews have contained 10 percent of the flames.
It was unclear how the fire started.
