THORNTON, CA - A man arrested in Galt on Friday was moved to San Joaquin County Jail on Sunday in connection with a drive-by shooting homicide in Thornton, California in March 2012.
Pedro Jose Tejeda was arrested by Galt police Friday on charges unrelated to the March incident, but was later transported to San Joaquin County Jail on homicide charges, said deputy Les Garcia of the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Dept.
The shooting to which Tejeda was linked, involved the killing of Phillip Low, 18, of Lodi at the intersection of N. Thornton Rd. and W. Stockton Rd.

Tejeda is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday.
No bail was set for Tejeda.
