SACRAMENTO, CA - A woman accused of abducting her children then fleeing to the Middle East is now getting support from the Muslim community in Sacramento.
A woman, who did not want to be identified and attends Masjid Annur Islamic Center in Sacramento, said the case against Mabrey is an injustice and appears to be a malicious attempt by Mabrey's estranged husband to incriminate her.

She said Mabrey was a member at Masjid Annur and the Muslim community is supporting Mabrey through financial resources and emotional support.
Elk Grove Police arrested Mabrey on Monday night on a warrant at the Sacramento International Airport. An FBI agent escorted Mabrey and her children from the Middle East to California.
The abduction case began in January 2011 after Sameh Hussein, Mabrey's estranged husband, made a report with Elk Grove police.
Tom Johnson, the attorney who is representing Mabrey, said his client did nothing wrong. Johnson said Hussein sent Mabrey and their children to the Middle East in 2009 to live with Hussein's family. During that time, Mabrey's attorney said Hussein was sending his family money and household goods.
"My children were abducted and that's all I can say," Hussein said in a brief conversation.
A member at Masjid Annur described Hussein as a very nice and friendly person. He said Hussein visited the mosque last week to pray.
According to court documents, an 11-page report was filed in support of the arrest warrant for Stacey Mabrey, but that report is sealed in the criminal case file.
Mabrey is still being held at Sacramento County Jail. Her bail was reduced from $250,000 to $10,000.
Mabrey is charged with detention of a minor child with intent to conceal.
