House explosion in North Highlands, California.
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA - The Sacramento Fire Department responded to a report of an explosion in the 6000 block of Grattan Way in North Highlands Wednesday morning.
Firefighters arrived at the scene around 3 a.m. and found the front wall and garage door of a house had been blown out in an explosion, according to CHP reports.
Response teams conducted a search but found no people inside the home.
The Sacramento Fire Department's arson unit conducted an investigation following the fire and determined the explosion was a result of arson, according to Scott Cockrum of Sac Metro Fire.
