Vacaville soccer coach pleads not guilty to child molestation

YOLO COUNTY, CA - A former Vacaville soccer coach pleaded not guilty to child molestation charges Tuesday.

Cristan Rooms, 29, is charged with 48 felony counts of child molestation and six misdemeanor counts of abusing or endangering the welfare of a minor.

Rooms was arrested Dec. 12 in front of his home in Esparto.

According to a 28-page criminal complaint, Rooms showered with one of the victims at various times between June 12, 2007 and June 11, 2011.

The complaint reads during the same time period, Rooms unlawfully touched the same child's buttocks and penis over the clothing.

According to the complaint, between Feb. 1, 2011 and Nov. 30, 2011, Rooms endangered the health of a second victim when he spanked and gave an enema to the child.

A few days after Rooms' arrest, a judge increased his bail to $12 million.
