NEVADA COUNTY, CA - A raid on two Penn Valley homes Thursday resulted in six drug-related arrests and three more arrests Friday of alleged methamphetamine suppliers.
Narcotics and major crime investigators with the Nevada County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant Thursday at a home on the 11000 block of Oak Canyon Road and another residence on the 10000 block of Peardon Road. Sheriff Keith Royal says officers recovered approximately 6.8 grams of meth in four baggies.
In addition, the resident of the Oak Canyon Road home, Kasha S. Kiley, 27, was arrested on possession of a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance and sales of a controlled substance. Also arrested on drug charges were Jeffrey S. Dean, 23, of Grass Valley; Andrew N. Patrick, 31, of Grass Valley; Roxanne M. Cottrill, 19, of Penn Valley and Vincent A. Virgili, 30, of Penn Valley and Denny C. Akers, 43. Akers was arrested on Peardon Road. Akers and Cottrill were also booked into custody on probation violation and Dean on a warrant for failure to appear.
Evidence recovered at the Oak Canyon Road home led to officers making a return visit Friday to intercept Brandy L. Spade, 38; Rhonda L. Guitron, 38, and Bob C. Harris Jr., 44, all of Olivehurst as they delivered two ounces of meth, according to Royal. The trio were arrested on controlled substance transportation, sales, possession, conspiracy and under the influence charges.
