An American flag outside a Stockton Wells Fargo was ripped up during a storm.

STOCKTON, CA - A large American flag seriously damaged by last weekend's storm is still flying over the entrance to the downtown Stockton Wells Fargo.

The storm caused the majority of the star section of the flag to be ripped from the rest of the material.

Wells Fargo spokesperson Julie Campbell said Wednesday it would finally be removed, but as of mid-afternoon it was still being displayed.

"That's disgusting," said Addie Suguitan, whose family has strong military ties. "I notice when flags are discolored. My father's a vet, we're involved in the American Legion all our lives. My husband is retired Air Force."

The Wells Fargo branch is at the intersection of El Dorado Street and Miner Avenue.
