SACRAMENTO, CA - Former plastic surgeon Scott Takasugi was sentenced Monday to three years, eight months in state prison and two years of probation after pleading no contest to two felony counts of exploiting patients.

Sacramento County Superior Judge Steve White also ordered Takasugi to register as a sex offender as part of a plea deal he reached in June.

The judge also ruled one of the victims will receive restitution -- but the amount has yet to be determined.

Fourteen alleged victims originally came forward. In exchange for his plea, 19 other felony charges against Takasugi were dropped.

Takasugi missed two previously scheduled sentencing dates.
