ROSEVILLE, CA - Cameras are following Tiffany Schumacker of Roseville. She is one of the people being featured in a pilot for a new reality show with a working title of "Beauty School Drop-In."

Executive Producer John Lockamy is co-owner of the Hoss Lee Beauty School in Citrus Heights. "We're following the girls in their education. We're following them in their work lives and their home lives," said Lockamy.

The first episode includes a local salon competition called "Hair Wars." "I'm sure there will be lots of cat fights," Lockamy said. "The Hair Wars segment is great for people who want to see drama. And we didn't have to manufacture any drama for that. There was plenty to go around."

Schumacker is excited about being in the show. "There's love. There's hate. There's everything. You just have to be yourself and roll with it. Whatever happens -- happens," she said.

But the 24-year-old is more excited about finishing beauty school. "I hope to own my own salon one day. I've always wanted to do hair and finally decided to follow my dreams," Schumacker said.

Lockamy said he still needs more cosmetology students for the series. He will hold a casting call on Sept. 16 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Sandbar in Citrus Heights.
