| The primary is June 3. The polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. If you have an absentee ballot and haven't returned it by June 3, you can return it to any polling place in your county. |

The election that was held February 5 was California's presidential primary. This one is the state's primary. We'll vote on propositions as well as for state and city offices. |

| The deadline to register for the primary is May 19. |

| You may apply to your county elections official for an absentee ballot between May 5 and May 27. |

| When will I get a sample ballot ? |
| May 24 is the deadline for counties to mail out the sample ballots. |
