SACRAMENTO, CA - Twitter has been around for four years now.The microblogging service continues to grow. And, so does the local Sacramento meetup group- Sac Tweetup. Tuesday, they celebrate the one year aniversary of their tweetups.

"We'd like to say it's two parts social, one part business. I think relationships naturally come out of it. But, it tends to be more social," said Suzanne Hopkins, Sacramento Tweetup Committee and marketing communications consultant.
News10 went to a Sac Tweetup a few months ago. News10 also interviewed Alejandro Reyes, Co-Founder of Sac Tweetup during News10's Live_Online. The group uses Twitter to organize the group, let them know when the event starts, and even tweet during the meet-up. Usually, a scrolling twitter feed with all the members, is on a big screen nearby.
A tweetup is where professionals from the area get together to mix and mingle, exchange cards, and ideas. From start-ups, to real estate folks, to the tech- savvy to the friendly. The next Sac Tweetup is Tuesday, February 16 at Mikuni starting at 6 p.m.
