SOUTH SACRAMENTO, CA - Residents of a South Sacramento apartment complex are waking up to a flooded parking lot.
A water main broke overnight at The Meridian Apartment complex in the 74-hundred block of Stockton Boulevard.
Water was high enough to flood the interiors of some cars. Several cars stalled out in the two-feet deep water and had to be pushed out of the lot, while other owners were able to drive their cars out. Crews from the California American Water District are working to pump out the water. Compounding the problem is the fact there is only one way in and out of the apartment complex.
