Sacramento, CA- California Lt. Governor John Garamendi has easily won a special election for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
The District 10 seat he will fill belonged to incumbent Democrat Ellen Tauscher, who took a position with the State Department. Garamendi's closest challenger was Republican, David Harmer.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will now have to nominate someone to serve out Garamendi's term which ends in 2011.
