ACAMPO, CA - San Joaquin County sheriff's investigators say the man they're looking for in connection with a deadly shooting in Acampo Saturday night is considered armed and dangerous.
Sheriff's department spokesman Deputy Les Garcia said Anthony Adell Hubbard, 22, is suspected in the death of Adam Mariano Campa, 28.
Deputies were dispatched to a report of shots fired on the 5800 block of E. Jahant Road at 11:30 Saturday night. Eleven minutes later, deputies received another call there was a body in the roadway, said Garcia. When they arrived, they found Campa with several gunshot wounds.
Paramedics also responded and pronounced Campa dead at the scene, Garcia said.
Investigators say Hubbard should not be approached. Contact local law enforcement if his whereabouts are known.
