LOOMIS, CA - A coroner's autopsy and toxicology results indicate a young woman found in a Loomis creek Aug. 26 drowned due to alcohol and over-the-counter medication intoxication, the Placer County Sheriff's Department said Thursday.

Alyse Rachelle Conk, 21, originally from Rocklin, was found by a 16-year-old boy near an equestrian center by a creek at Loomis Basin Community Park.

Sheriff's investigators believe Conk was alone and sleeping in the park on a makeshift bed of blankets and a pillow alongside the creek.

Detectives determined no foul play was involved.

The Placer County coroner ruled Conk's death accidental.
