EL DORADO COUNTY, CA - Authorities say an El Dorado County family of four last seen Oct. 20 has turned up in a neighboring county.
El Dorado County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Bryan Golmitz said Sarah Jean Smith, 28, her son Joshua Bargus, 7, and daughter Kylie Just, 15 months, were last seen in their car driving to pick up Bargus from Georgetown Elementary School. Smith's boyfriend, Jason McClellan, 40, was also with them. They were in a 2004 Honda Civic with no license plates.
A relative reported them missing Oct. 23 when they didn't return home from picking Bargus up from school, said Golmitz.
News10 learned Wednesday the family had been staying with Smith's mother and she had asked them to leave. The adults did not have a cell phone, credit cards or bank accounts to trace, said the sheriff's office.
