MODESTO, Calif. (AP) -- Stanislaus County authorities said a 16-year-old boy was being held in connection with the fatal shooting of another 16-year-old boy. Investigators said the teenage suspect was arrested on suspicion of murder and assault with a deadly weapon after the other boy was hit by gunfire Tuesday evening in an unincorporated area outside of Modesto. A 29-year-old man was also shot. He was being treated a hospital for what authorities described as non-life threatening injuries. Investigators have not released the name of the suspect or of the adult wounded in the shooting. They have identified the teen who was fatally shot as Eliazar Hernandez.
