SACRAMENTO, CA --Two lanes of northbound Interstate 5 were blocked because of a big rig accident Tuesday morning.

A truck traveling southbound overturned just before 6 a.m. at I-5 and Seamas Road, flipping over the center concrete barrier into the northbound lanes.

News10's Angel Cardenas was on the scene. He reported the big rig hit two other cars. The driver of the rig received minor injuries.

Sacramento Fire Department Hazmat crews are on scene to clean up oil and fuel that leaked from the big rig. The driver was hauling insulation.

Traffic was backed up for at least three miles, according to the California Highway Patrol and was expected to remain blocked for a few hours.
