EL DORADO COUNTY, CA - An alert has been issued for a 7-year-old El Dorado County boy authorities think could be with his mother, according to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities are looking for Seth Webb and his mother Jenner Wertz. Lt. Bryan Golmitz says they were last seen leaving the Mt. Aukum area at 12:56 p.m. Friday. The boy was not at school Friday.
The boy was described as white, 4 feet - 4 inches tall and weighing 65 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes.
Wertz, 33, was described as white, 5 feet - 4 inches tall and weighing 125 pounds. She has blond hair and blue eyes.
When last seen, Wertz was driving a cream-colored Chrysler PT Cruiser, California license placte number 5KDC561. The sheriff's office said Wertz could be driving to Foresthill in Placer County or the Hayward area.
Golmitz said Wertz's family was not concerned she would hurt her son but they are worried for her. Golmitz said Wertz's family said she has been acting irrationally and made death threats against her sister when she learned her family had asked for a welfare check.
Wertz is 3-months pregnant, according to her family.
