ARNOLD, CA - Two missing teenage hunters were found safe Wednesday in Calaveras County, while another hunter is still missing, according to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department.
News10's Tim Daly reports the two teenagers, Ryan Geto, 14, and Cody Decoste, 18, were found Wednesday morning in Arnold. One of the teens sent a text message to a friend, who then contacted the sheriff's department.
Sgt. Dave Seawall said the search is still underway for a separate hunter. Devin Smith, 37, of Douglas Flat, has been missing since Monday, said Seawall. Smith's vehicle was found found by Swamp Creek, northeast of White Pines Lake.
The concern is the colder weather, said Seawall.
