MANTECA, CA (AP) -- A substitute teacher from Tracy remains in jail after pleading not guilty to charges he molested 12 girls on the campus of the elementary school where he worked.
Jesse Llorente III allegedly massaged the shoulders of students at Kelly School in January and February. Police said the 39-year-old was aroused by the contact.
Llorente, who appeared in the Manteca branch of San Joaquin County Superior Court Tuesday, faces 10 felony charges of lewd acts with a child, three misdemeanor child molestation charges and one count of possession of child pornography.
He is due back in court May 6 for a preliminary hearing. He is being held on $1 million bail.
