DAVIS, CA - A free screening of a hit XXX film brought hundreds upon hundreds of eager fans to UC Davis Thursday night.
The movie "Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge" brought so many people that the campus had to turn many away after the 500-seat theatre in the campus' Chemistry Building was packed. Many in the long line outside the theatre stood there for hours for a chance to see the film free.
UC Davis' student-run Entertainment Council brought the film to campus, even featuring a speaker on pornography.
Universities across the country have shown the film, sparking debate over whether it is in bad taste to show an adult film in a place of academia.
A handful of protesters showed in opposition to porn, but the people lining around the Chemistry building waiting to get in, far outnumbered the group.
"Pirates II" is dubbed as the most expensive adult film produced to date, touting over 600 special effects, thrilling fight scenes, and a comprehensive story line.
