SACRAMENTO, CA - A motorcyclist did not survive a crash in Sacramento Tuesday morning.
California Highway Patrol Officer Michael Bradley said a 31-year-old man from Sacramento on a Kawasaki bike appeared to have been traveling too fast as he negotiated a curve from eastbound Highway 50 to northbound Interstate 80 in the area of the H Street off ramp. The motorcyclist struck the guardrail and died at the scene.
The crash was reported at 10:59 a.m.
Bradley said there was no indication alcohol or something else played a role.
The victim's name has not been released.
