SACRAMENTO - The daughter of a 56-year-old man hit by a vehicle and left badly injured in the street Friday is looking for justice.
"I'm not going to stop, so I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that there's justice," Andrea Arnold said.
Her father, Jeff Arnold, was struck by a car at about 10:45 p.m. Friday on West El Camino Avenue near Thelma Avenue. The vehicle that struck him left the scene. He was taken to UC Davis Medical Center with serious injuries all over his body.
There are no leads three days later, and no vehicle description. Police are looking for leads from the public.
Andrea Arnold said her father spent much of Monday undergoing surgery to fix his broken hip and pelvis. She said it's hard to see her dad like this.
"This is not right, he didn't deserve this, and I'm just begging anybody, this is my father," she pleaded.
Jeff Arnold was listed in fair condition Monday evening. His family is anticipating a long road to recovery ahead.
