DAVIS, CA - The case of a Davis teenager accused of brutally murdering an elderly Davis couple last April will go to trial, a Yolo County judge has ruled.
David Marsh, who was 15 at the time of the slayings of Oliver "Chip" Northrup, 87, and Claudia Maulin, 76, is being charged as an adult. He faces two counts of first degree murder with use of a knife and special circumstances of lying in wait, torture and commission of multiple murders. He has pled not guilty.
A motivation for the killings has not been released.
Marsh's next court appearance was set for Sept. 24.
