STOCKTON, Calif. - A man pulled over for a traffic stop was arrested in Stockton on Monday after trying to conceal drugs in his pants, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP reports stated officers pulled over a 2003 Mercedes Benz for failing to stay in its lane in the area of N. Wilson Wy. and E. Alpine Ave. In the midst of the traffic stop, officers noticed the driver of the Mercedes, Ernie Juarez, place an unknown item down his pants.
Juarez was subsequently found to be in possession of a half ounce of suspected crystal meth, an undisclosed amount of black tar heroin and an illegal cane sword, said officers.
Juarez was arrested at the scene and booked into the San Joaquin County jail on charges of possession of narcotics, possession of drugs for sale, and a felony weapons charge.
