SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA - A man who reportedly pointed a gun at store employees during the theft of store merchandise is being sought by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
The incident took place at the Home Depot warehouse on the 5200 block of Antelope Road on March 1 at about 7:20 that Friday night, according to sheriff's Sgt. Jason Ramos. Witnesses said when the individual tried to leave without paying for items he picked up and was confronted by security, he brandished a black, semi-automatic handgun at the security workers.
No one was hurt.
The man left in a vehicle that was not described. However, store surveillance camera photos show the suspected robber as white, in his 20s, about 6 feet 1 inches tall with a medium build. He wore a black baseball cap, black t-shirt and jeans.
