The Antelope Titans win the Sac-Joaquin Boys D-II Section Championship.
SACRAMENTO, CA - The (3) Antelope Titans pulled away late in the fourth to defeat the (4) Grant Pacers 70-63 to clinch another Sac-Joaquin Boys Division II Section Championship, Saturday night at Sleep Train Arena.
Gabe Bealer scored 24 points and Rashard Thornhill added 14 for the Titans who defended their Section Title.
The Titans suffered a scary moment when 6-foot-7 senior Isaiah Ellis exit the game in the first half and not return for the rest of the game. He chipped in 10 points and had seven rebounds.
De'Sean Parsons had a game-high 27 points and eight rebounds for Grant, who will join the Titans in the Northern California Regional Playoffs beginning next week.
Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins and former King, turned assistant coach, Bobby Jackson attended the game.
