RANCHO CORDOVA, CA - A woman who died when the car she was driving car crashed on Sunrise Boulevard north of Douglas Road Tuesday night was identified by the Sacramento County coroner as 53-year-old Robin Erickson-Boehme of Sacramento.
Erickson-Boehme was trapped in her 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse and did not survive, said Rancho Cordova Police Department spokesman Sgt. Jason Ramos previously.
Police believe the victim's car was traveling on northbound Sunrise Boulevard when it veered toward the right shoulder and struck the curb before abruptly moving to the center of the road. Ramos said the initial investigation suggests Erickson-Boehme lost control before her car then struck a tree in the center median.
