STOCKTON, CA - Two men were found dead by emergency personnel in Stockton early Monday morning.
Initial Stockton police reports stated that officers responded to a call of a person shot at the Village East Apartments on the 300 block of Burkett Avenue around 12:46 a.m.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers located a 23-year-old man and 31-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the men was a documented gang member and the other was a parolee, according to the report. The report did not detail which man was the parolee and which was the gang member.
Medical personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced both men deceased.
Neither man's identity was disclosed and no information was provided on possible suspects or motive.
