Buster Posey wins comeback player honor

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey has been selected by beat writers as the National League Comeback Player of the Year. 

Posey won the NL batting title with a .336 regular season average, drove in 103 runs and hit 24 homers a year after his 2011 season ended 45 games in with leg and ankle injuries in a home-plate collision.
