FOOTHILL FARMS, CA - A 3-year-old was abducted by her mother from daycare Tuesday morning, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department said.
Deputy Jason Ramos said the girl, Crystal Rojas, disappeared after her mom Patti Rojas, 24, came to visit her at the daycare on the 5200 block of Elkhorn Boulevard around 10 a.m.
Patti Rojas is not the legal guardian of Crystal Rojas, Ramos said.
An investigation into the abduction found that Patti Rojas made plans to take the 3-year-old to Nevada. Ramos said deputies are working with law enforcement in Nevada to find the mom and the girl.
Crystal Rojas is about 3'4" tall, weighing between 35 to 40 pounds, with blond hair and brown eyes. Patti Rojas is 5'3" tall, weighing 105 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
