VACAVILLE, CA - One person was injured in an explosion at a Vacaville gun range Friday afternoon.
The explosion happened at the Center Mass Gun Range on 27 Commerce Place, around 2:45 p.m., Vacaville City spokesperson Mark Mazzaferro said.
Authorities believe a small buildup of gun powder was ignited by something, causing the explosion.
The person injured was a customer who was hit with a chunk of concrete that went flying by the explosion.
Mazzaferro said Solano County Hazmat was at the scene to check if there were any other hazards at the facility.
