FRIDAY: A Hard Freeze Warning is in effect through 9 a.m. Another weather system will bring rain and snow back to the forecast mid-afternoon. Highs near 50. Sierra highs in the 20s. Snow level drops to near 500 feet overnight. We could see snow in the Sacramento area Saturday morning. Travel will be tough with snow accumulating on all roads above 1000 ft.
SATURDAY: A continued chance of showers early in the day for the valley with highs in the 40s. Snow for the foothills with accumulations up to ten inches possible. Up to two feet of snow above 3,500 feet. Sierra highs in the 20s.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny for the valley but still cool with lows in the 20s and highs in the 40s. Partly cloudy in the Sierra with highs in the 20s.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny for the valley with lows near freezing and highs near 50. Sierra highs in the mid 30s with partly cloudy skies.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny in the valley with highs in the low 50s. Lows will be in the mid 30s. Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow for the Sierra with highs near 40.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and seasonable for the valley with lows in the 30s and afternoon highs in the upper 50s. Sierra skies will be mostly cloudy with highs in the 40s.
: A slight chance of rain with partly sunny skies. High temps in the upper 50's. For the Sierra a slight chance of rain and snow. Highs pretty mild for this time of the year in the upper 40s.
