SACRAMENTO - For holiday travelers in the Sacramento area, thick morning fog isn't causing any major problems.
All morning, flights in and out of Sacramento International Airport have been on time. Inside Terminal B, travelers who checked in online ran into no problems getting to the tram and on to security.
Nationwide, AAA predicts 59-million people will travel at least 50 miles from home for the holidays.
Many in Northern California will travel by car, and the good news for those drivers is the latest gas prices are $3.37/gallon for regular unleaded fuel in Sacramento, $3.31/gallon in Stockton, and $3.30/gallon in Modesto. AAA says those prices are within a penny of where they were yesterday.
Nationwide, a Lundberg survey shows gas prices averaging $3.26/gallon, down 12 cents from two weeks ago.
